SECURITY INFORMATION

Please read the account security measure. That is the only way you can secure your account from theft.

On no occasion would goldnigeria.com ask anyone to send his/her bank payment details to them either by mail or GSM text message. All you need to do to notify us of your payment is to fill ‘the Buy’ form on our website.

Make sure your e-currency account number is accurate and remember to put in your account name when requesting for funding or withdrawal. Failure to include these may cause unnecessary delay in funding your account.

To know the actual amount that was transferred to you account, please go to the ‘History’ in the member area of your account.

Please note that temporary technical hitch from any of the E-currency exchange server may most times prevent us from funding your account same day as promised.

The system of the e-currency exchange network websites itself is solidly secured. That means that no hacker can breakthrough the system. It is only the user like yourself that can by mistake (if you don’t follow these security measures) open doors for hackers.

REMEMBER:
When logging in to your account always make sure that the URL in your browser window is http://www.libertyreserve.com/en/ for liberty reserve or http://c-gold.com/ for C-Gold. Scammers set up doorway pages trying to make you believe you’re on the real website.

Then check for the security lock bottom right hand corner, which looks like padlock. Now you can proceed by filling in the form and making the payment.

Restrict easy access to your e-gold account following these other security measures:

Do not click links in unsolicited email messages
Do not fill out forms in e-mail messages that claim to be from liberty reserve or c-gold.

* E-mail may not be from whom it claims to be from (i.e. spoofed). Many common Internet frauds start with spoofed e-mail.
* Viruses can be delivered to your computer by simply looking at a web page using a vulnerable web browser.
Windows Update (if you have a computer)
Keep your operating system and applications updated
Use Windows Update to make sure you have the latest security patches installed. Also check for updates to your application programs, especially Microsoft Office.
Use hardware and/or software firewall
A firewall can protect your computer from malicious traffic. A hardware firewall/router (such as the many offerings of companies like Linksys, D-Link, SMC, and others) acts as a barrier between the outside world and your computer. A software firewall, such as ZoneAlarm, performs that function to a lesser degree but can also block malicious programs on your computer from sending data out to the Internet. Windows XP includes a simple firewall, but it is disabled by default. The free version of ZoneAlarm does a very nice job.

Do not run untrusted applications
Running any program that arrives via email or that was downloaded from the Internet can be dangerous. Only run applications that you wish to grant complete access to your computer and the data contained on it.

Upgrade to a better web browser
choose a better browser for your internet connection. Mozilla's Firefox is available for almost every operating system and has many security and privacy advantages. Try "tabbed browsing". Manage your cookies. Block pop-up windows. The features are many, but the cost is low - in fact free.

Use an Anti-Virus program
If you follow all of the above recommendations a virus will have difficulty infecting your computer. However, since a computer virus can be a vehicle for a criminal to gain total control of your computer and thereby any information stored on, sent by, or received by your computer, it is prudent to install antivirus software from a reputable source and run it regularly. Since new viruses are discovered daily, it is important to keep antivirus software and the virus definitions it uses for detection up to date at all times.

If you follow each step outlined above, you can rest assured that your payment is safe.
